<p> PaperOffice can automatically recognize all your documents through the AI-based intelligent filing system "PIA", as well as index them and read out the entire content. </p> <p> The recognition or storage can be done automatically, invisible in the background, as well as with the help of your additional control / test. </p> <p> To change the PIA detection mode, click on the PIA symbol in the navigation bar in your interface: </p>

<p> Now select any mode by clicking one of the four modes. You can see which mode is currently active by the tick at the top right. </p>

<p> <b> Show PIA storage dialog </b>: Select this mode if you want the PIA dialog to be displayed when new documents are stored. The documents are analyzed by PIA, automatically tagged and displayed for completion. You can check all the information and then save the documents in PaperOffice. <br> The PIA dialog is displayed for both taught-in documents and new ones that have not been taught-in. <br> The only difference is that in the case of taught-in documents, all recognized properties of the document and the storage location (if the storage mask was connected) are filled in in advance and displayed in the dialog. </p>
<p> <b> Do not show PIA storage dialog </b>: Taught-in documents are stored in the background, PIA is only displayed if the document could not be recognized. </p>
<p> <b> Manual filing </b>: New documents are saved in the fastest way directly in the currently selected folder. The keywording can optionally be done manually later. <br> In addition, this mode can be combined with additional actions. <br> To assign an automated action, click on the selection list “No further action” and select “Edit after saving” - the document will be saved in the selected folder (for quick views - My Inbox) and the document properties for will open immediately the keywording. </p> <p> Or select the option "Assign task after saving" - after the document has been saved in the currently selected folder, the task management opens and you can assign a task to this document. </p>
<p> <b> Always ask </b>: PIA asks every time how new documents should be filed. PIA can remember your answer and the setting can be changed again at any time. </p>
