Integrated password manager (management of your passwords)

The integrated password manager in PaperOffice offers you the management of your passwords in a very secure way - highly secure encrypted. The passwords stored in PaperOffice can be searched for within the password management; these can also be categorized. You can easily create your passwords in PaperOffice and store details about them. The security function in PaperOffice and the high level of encryption protect your passwords from misuse. All passwords that have been added within a network are listed, and you have access to all the necessary passwords at all times.

Click on the arrow to the right of the help symbol to enlarge the password management window for even more convenient operation. Clicking the arrow again reduces the window to its original size. Click on "X" to close the window.

Add new password: Click on the button "Add new password" to add a new password and enter all details of your password in the right window.

Created on: By clicking in the selection list, the lower password list can be filtered for the selected period. Last modified: By clicking in the selection list, the lower password list can be filtered for the selected change period. Expiry date: By clicking in the selection list, the lower password list can be filtered for the selected expiration period. Accordingly, only those passwords are shown in the list that should expire in the selected period. The expiration date can be set in the <a target="blank" href="https://portal.paperoffice.ai/paperoffice/en/kb/paperoffice-classic-dms/passwort_details_in_der_passwortverwaltung_hinterlegen"> password details.</a>

Date of renovation: By clicking in the selection list, the lower password list can be filtered for the selected renewal period. Accordingly, only those passwords are shown in the list that should be renewed in the selected period. Category: By clicking in the selection list, the lower password list can be filtered to the selected category. Each password you add can be assigned to one or more categories (such as banking, email or social network). Accordingly, only those passwords are displayed in the list that correspond to the selected category. Search: Enter one or more search terms in the input field to search for corresponding passwords. Password list: All the passwords you added will be listed in the password list. The name of your passwords is given under the "Description" column. The categories assigned to your passwords are listed under the “Categories” column. You can sort them according to A-Z or Z-A by clicking directly on the column.

View password details: Clicking on one of the entries opens a new window on the right where you can save or edit the <a target="blank" href="https://portal.paperoffice.ai/paperoffice/en/kb/paperoffice-classic-dms/passwort_details_in_der_passwortverwaltung_hinterlegen"> password details.</a>

Delete Passwords: Click on one of the passwords that you want to delete and then on the lower button "Delete selected password". Confirm the security question with "YES; DELETE AND REMOVE".
