Connect Claude to PaperOffice

Before you start

  • You need a PaperOffice account with at least one workspace and credits.
  • Your Claude plan must allow connectors (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise; Team/Enterprise admins may need to enable the connector for the organisation first).
  • Connector URL: https://mcp.paperoffice.ai/claude

Option A — from the Connectors Directory

  1. In claude.ai open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Find PaperOffice in the directory and choose Connect.
  3. A PaperOffice sign-in window opens. Sign in with your PaperOffice account.
  4. Review the requested access and confirm.
  5. Back in Claude, enable the PaperOffice tools for the conversation (tools icon in the chat input).

Option B — as a custom connector

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name: PaperOffice, URL: https://mcp.paperoffice.ai/claude. Leave client ID and secret empty — OAuth 2.1 starts automatically.
  3. Choose Add, then Connect and sign in as above.

Claude Desktop and Claude Code

Claude Desktop uses the same connector list as claude.ai — connect once, it is available everywhere you are signed in.

Claude Code (terminal):

claude mcp add --transport http paperoffice https://mcp.paperoffice.ai/claude

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to complete the OAuth sign-in.

First test

Ask Claude: "Which PaperOffice workspaces can I access?" — it should list your workspaces. Then try "Find the latest invoice from Muster GmbH and summarise it."
