Connect JTL-Wawi: read orders, shipments and prices

What it is and what it is for

PaperOffice reads orders, delivery notes with tracking numbers and items with prices from JTL-Wawi. The connection uses the official JTL API and is read-only. Nothing is changed in JTL-Wawi. The data is mirrored as an operational source. Your chat or phone agent tells a customer the order status only after proof.

How it works

  1. Open Knowledge Base AI → Operational sources and click Add source.
  2. On the Basics tab, enter a name and choose JTL-Wawi as the Connection.
  3. On the Connection tab, under JTL connection, choose JTL Cloud or JTL-Wawi on premises.
  4. For JTL Cloud, enter the Tenant ID. On premises, enter the HTTPS URL and the API key (on premises) from the app registration.
  5. Under Reference / parcel number, enter a real order number for the preview.
  6. On the Proof tab, choose how customers identify themselves: order number and postal code, SMS one-time code or caller number on the phone agent.
  7. On the Preview tab, click Preview without saving, then save. Start the first sync with Sync now.

Good to know

  • On premises, JTL-Wawi needs a public HTTPS address on the standard port 443. Internal addresses and HTTP are blocked.
  • Please check with support whether JTL Cloud is already enabled for your account.
  • After three failed fetches in a row, the source pauses automatically.
  • Fetches are paid. Knowledge Base AI is available from the Plus plan.
