What it is and what it is for
With n8n, Make or Zapier you connect PaperOffice AI to your other systems. You use the standard building blocks of these tools: HTTP requests to the REST API and webhooks. n8n can also connect to the PaperOffice MCP server with its MCP client. Webhook targets in Workflow Agents are available only from the Professional plan.
How it works
- Create a key on the API Keys page. Enter it in the HTTP node as a Bearer token.
- Call the REST API, for example to upload or search. See the API Documentation for endpoints.
- To receive results, open Workflow AI → Workflow Agents, edit a saved agent and choose the Webhooks tab.
- Click Add webhook target. Enter the webhook address from n8n, Make or Zapier as the Target URL.
- Under Send on, choose Run successful, Run failed or both.
- For a human review, your flow creates a review task and waits for a webhook. The task.completed event reports the decision from Workflow AI → Human In The Loop Tasks.
Good to know
- Each successful webhook delivery is paid. Retries, test events and failed deliveries are free.
- API calls are paid.
- Placeholders such as {trigger.pofid} are allowed in the path, query and headers, not in the host name.
- Webhooks from PaperOffice are signed in the X-PaperOffice-Signature header. Check it in your flow.
- For Make and Zapier, use their HTTP and webhook modules.
