Text messages from PaperOffice: what they are for

What it is and what it is for

Did you get a text message from “PaperOffice”? PaperOffice sends text messages only for fixed purposes: codes, signature invitations, and links or case numbers after a call with an agent. Every text message to a recipient or caller is a paid feature. It is charged to the account that triggers it.

How it works

  1. Open Conversation AI → Conversation Agents and open the agent.
  2. On the Requests tab, decide whether callers get a form link by text message. There you also switch on Text the case number.
  3. On the Referrals tab, maintain the Link library. The agent may only send these links by text message.
  4. Under Knowledge Base AI → Operational sources, choose on the Proof tab whether an SMS one-time code is allowed.

Good to know

  • Account: verification code and login code.
  • Signature: invitation, reminder, signing code and confirmation.
  • Document delivery: retrieval code or PDF password.
  • After a call: a link to a form for your email address, an info link or your case number. A ticket is created only once you enter your email address.
  • Order status: a 6-digit code to the number on the order. It is sent only if the caller agrees, and it is valid for 10 minutes.
  • Status messages about orders are off by default.
  • Never share codes.
  • The agent never calls you or calls back by itself.
