Same credits as the API
Every tool call an assistant makes through the connector is billed in credits, exactly like the corresponding REST API call. There is no separate connector subscription.
- Discovery, health checks and job status polling are free.
- Reading, searching, extracting, uploading and workflow operations cost credits according to the current API price list.
- The response of each billable call contains a short billing summary the assistant can show you.
Where to see usage
In the PaperOffice app under Account → API usage all calls are listed with time, tool, credits and the token or OAuth connection that made them. Connector calls are therefore fully traceable per user.
When credits run out
Calls are rejected with a clear message until the balance is topped up or auto-refill kicks in. Nothing is deleted; the assistant simply cannot execute the requested action.
Rate limits
Rate limits follow your plan and apply to the API and connector calls together. Details: Limits and credits and the dashboard.
