<p>When clicking on the PaperOffice icon the program does not respond and does not open it can be to several causes.</p>
<h3>To fix the issue try the following steps:</h3>
<b>1.</b><br> Copy the code below<br> <code>taskkill /f /IM "com.paperoffice*"</code>
<p> Now press simultaneously the <span class="fab fa-windows"></span> and <b>R</b> keys on your keyboard to quickly bring up the Run dialog box. </p> <p> Paste the before copied code into the box and press ENTER.<br> <img src="https://api.paperoffice.ai/latest/knowledge/image/15/73169623031f61549a02b5c841c43c647853850110e8837db089e48a4b64086e" alt="RunBox"> <p>This will close all possible PaperOffice processes.<br> Start PaperOffice as usual. </p>

<p> Double click on the file.<br> A Command Prompt will open (cmd) and will close all possible PaperOffice processes and restart PaperOffice.<br> You can close the Command Prompt once PaperOffice has started. </p>
<b>3.</b><br> Restart your PC and start PaperOffice as usual.
