What performance limits exist?

While PaperOffice generally has no restrictions to provide our customers with maximum flexibility, there are still technical limits that need to be considered.

Performance limits are based on the hardware and database used, and may vary accordingly.

Performance limit for folder structures
More than 500 subfolders may impact performance. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Total number of folders per database
Approximately 20,000 folders; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Documents per folder
Up to 1,000 documents; beyond this, performance may degrade. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Contacts
Up to 1,000 contacts; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Stamps
Up to 25 stamps; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Calendar entries
Up to 15,000 entries; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Predefined templates
Up to 600 templates; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Monitored folders
A maximum of 10 monitored folders; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

Outlook folder monitoring
A maximum of 10 Outlook folders; beyond this, performance issues may arise. The limits can be significantly higher depending on the hardware used.

These guidelines help ensure optimal performance when using PaperOffice.
