Storing and processing are two steps
Import documents copies the files into the target workspace. The AI-DMS tier of that workspace processes them afterwards. While the pipeline is running, search cannot yet find the document by its content.
Check or change the tier: AI-DMS tiers: Basic, Premium and Ultra. Storage only stores files and does not start an OCR pipeline.
Page limit
The workspace has a page limit for the pipeline. The default is 20 pages per document. The pipeline does not accept more than 40 pages. Pages beyond that limit are not sent through AI-DMS. Set the limit when creating or editing the workspace, in the AI-DMS area.
Folders from the import
Subfolders from a ZIP or a storage mount are kept as the storage path, not as explorer folders created by hand: Folders in a workspace.
Search
Open the workspace and use search in the documents toolbar. Nothing found: Search returns nothing.
