Organization and accounts
PaperOffice AI belongs to one organization. Credits, documents, workspaces and billing apply to that organization, not to a single device.
Root account
The root account is the organization owner. It is created when the organization is registered.
Only the root account:
- sees Delete account in Settings
- can delete the organization permanently: How do I delete my PaperOffice AI account?
- is responsible for plan, wallet and invoices
Member accounts
Further people work as users (member accounts) in the same organization. They do not see account deletion. Creating and inviting users lives in the web and desktop app: Invite a user.
A member account does not remove itself through Delete account. Removing a user is a different action: Remove a user.
A session acting on behalf of another account (impersonation) does not inherit root rights for account deletion.
Mobile app
User management and organization settings are not available in the mobile app.
Languages
The app UI follows the URL (/{lang}/, for example /de/, /en/, /fr/) in 35 languages. These help articles are German and English.
