The path
- Open PaperOffice AI in the browser or the desktop app.
- In the left sidebar, expand Document AI.
- Choose Storage Mounts.
Open it directly:
- German: https://app.paperoffice.ai/de/document-ai/storage-mounts-overview
- English: https://app.paperoffice.ai/en/document-ai/storage-mounts-overview
Other UI languages: /{lang}/document-ai/storage-mounts-overview.
The page lists all storage mounts of the organization. A click opens a mount with its connection, logs and settings. Create a new one with Add Storage Mount: Storage mounts: where to find them and how to connect a NAS.
Storage mount or connector?
| Storage mount | Connector | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The connection to a storage: NAS, SFTP, WebDAV, S3 or mailbox (IMAP) | A rule that keeps fetching new files from a storage mount |
| Where | Document AI → Storage Mounts | Document AI → Connectors |
| What you set | Credentials, path, connection test | Source, target workspace, fetch interval |
Create the storage mount first, then the connector. The connector decides which workspace new files go to. A mailbox as an example: Fetch a mailbox continuously (IMAP connector).
To take over an existing store once, use the import wizard instead: How do I import data into workspaces?.
If the page is missing
- The page opens only when signed in to the app, not on paperoffice.ai.
- Older addresses such as
/settings/storage-mountsdo not exist. Use the path through Document AI. - If you do not see the entry, your account most likely lacks the right to it. Ask the organization owner.
