ASUSTOR, not a dedicated connector
PaperOffice AI has no ASUSTOR connector. The device appears as SSH/SFTP (BYOS) or as an import source (SFTP or WebDAV). The PaperOffice AI clicks live in How do I connect a NAS as a storage mount?.
ADM firmware menus can differ slightly by version. What matters: SFTP reachable, dedicated user, dedicated folder.
On the ASUSTOR NAS
In ADM, enable SSH/SFTP under Services. Under access control, create a dedicated user and a dedicated share — not the Classic data folder. PaperOffice AI authenticates SFTP with a password. WebDAV, if enabled, is an import source, not BYOS.
Classic MariaDB or the PaperOffice Classic data folder on this NAS is not a mount path for PaperOffice AI. Export originals first: How do I export documents as original files?
In PaperOffice AI
- Document AI → Storage mounts → Create.
- BYOS and SSH/SFTP if originals should stay on the ASUSTOR.
- Host (LAN address or hostname), port, user, password, base path to the new folder.
- Test the connection, download the BYOS key, save.
