What a workspace is
A workspace is the container for documents, folders and processing (AI-DMS). An organization can have several workspaces with different tiers.
Workspaces live in the web app and the desktop app. The mobile app uses the same workspaces and does not fully replace administration.
Path
- Open PaperOffice AI in the browser or the desktop app.
- Document AI → Workspaces.
- Create new workspace.

Defaults on create
- Workspace type Business
- AI-DMS Premium (IDP Full). Tiers: AI-DMS tiers: Basic, Premium and Ultra
- Storage PaperOffice EU Datacenter, or own storage (BYOS) with a storage mount
- Start SLA Best Effort (
no_sla)
Storage mode (datacenter or BYOS) is final after save. Create the BYOS mount first: How do I connect a NAS as a storage mount?
