Product change, not a database move
PaperOffice Classic DMS and PaperOffice AI are different products. Classic databases (MariaDB on the NAS or locally) are not restored into PaperOffice AI.
What carries over: original files and the folder structure. Processing (OCR, search, AI-DMS) is created again in the workspace.
Mac UI: PaperOffice AI runs in the browser. Classic export typically runs on a Windows client: PaperOffice AI: web app and desktop app.

Order in PaperOffice AI: storage mount before the workspace if originals should stay on the NAS (BYOS). Classic export can run first in parallel.
